Where I come from
Hi there! I am very glad you are here!
I grew up in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, and moved to Debrecen for high school, where my early dream of becoming a doctor turned into a passion for mathematics and computer science.
That shift came when I transferred into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at Tóth Árpád Gimnázium and discovered how much I enjoy structured problem-solving. Even when Covid moved our studies online, my enthusiasm stayed high. I dedicated my free time to community projects, organizing a Christmas gift fundraiser with Mosoly Manó for children in need and writing letters to isolated elderly people through Letters Against Isolation. At the same time, I explored my wide curiosity through early research projects on capacitor calculations in electronic circuits and the economics behind the 1929 Wall Street Crash.
After high school, I moved to Portugal to study Data Science and Business Analytics at Forward College, an international program in partnership with the London School of Economics.
I finished my first year with upper second class honors and earned the top score in the university for Mathematical Methods with a 96 percent mark. During my time there, I worked as a Student Ambassador, helped Professor Sara Santos develop a foundational math bootcamp, and organized an induction week welcoming peers from over 20 countries to Lisbon. When offered a full-time, year-long Data Science internship at the college, I decided to take a gap year to gain hands-on professional experience.
After my internship, I moved back to Hungary and started a Computer Science degree at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest.
Financial difficulties meant I was unable to continue the program's next phase in Paris, so I chose ELTE to build a stronger technical foundation alongside the data science and business skills I had gained in Lisbon.
My first Erasmus semester, at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, sparked my interest in Cybersecurity.
There I focused on hardware programming, operating systems, networks, and databases. This deep dive into low-level computer engineering led me to start self-studying network security on TryHackMe, which eventually grew into my current university research on AI coding security and vibe coding safety.
My second Erasmus semester, at the University of Primorska in Koper, Slovenia, is where I co-founded DropIn and rediscovered my passion for Data Science.
DropIn is an aggregated booking platform in Hungary, and I directly applied my coursework in machine learning and adaptive interactive systems to develop our recommendation engine. While exploring augmented reality, Unity game dev, and motion capture at the HICUP lab, I took an advanced Data Programming course in Python and R, which convinced me to pursue Data Science fully alongside my CS degree. Inspired by my machine learning classes, I also focused on computer vision and won the national NTP scholarship to build image recognition models for data-scarce environments.
Today, I am completing a double degree in Computer Science at ELTE and Data Science in Business at Corvinus University.
I spent the summer working on my computer vision research and preparing DropIn for our official launch in November 2026.
Moving forward, I am on track to graduate in Computer Science in 2027 and Data Science in 2028.
